Debra Danielsen, Farrah's mother, has stated that Farrah does this because it is common in Danish culture. However, Farrah Abraham has admitted on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars Family Edition that she does so because she feels her father abandoned her when she was younger and that he does not actively participate in her life.
